Sales is not a singular skill.  Dan was a professional bobsledder for nearly 10 years, competing from the US and Canada to all over Europe.  In 2002, he raced in the Salt Lake City Olympic Games, and in 2004 was a Silver Medalist in the America’s Cup series.  In the beginning of the millennium, Dan moved into acting, being accepted into the Howard Fine Acting School in Los Angeles.  That led to roles in films such as Seabiscuit and The Longest Yard, as well as several indie films, but no film brought more notoriety than, The Room, which turned into a major cult classic, was made into a top selling book, and now has been optioned to be remade by James Franco and Seth Rogen in 2015.

As a restaurateur, he was involved with the widely popular, Geisha House in Hollywood, California, partnering with Ashton Kutcher, Tara Reid and others, as well as running The Parish Room in Austin, Texas, highly regarded as one of the best music venues in the country. Other notable items were several appearances on Home Shopping Network and America’s Store, including appearances with Suzanne Summers, showing the power of WebTV, as well as being a winner on Wheel of Fortune in 2013.

More recently, Dan has been focused on sales coaching and writing.  His book How I Broke the Company Record, is available on his website and contains valuable information on the Cycle of Sales and increasing sales.  In addition to that book, Dan has also recently teamed up with Jack Canfield and several leading experts from various industries to release a new book, “The Soul of Success Vol 2: The world’s leading entrepreneurs and professionals reveal their core strategies for getting to the heart of health, wealth and success” by CelebrityPress.  When he’s not writing, Dan Jan promotes his online course, The Cycle of Sales, and continues to coach sales agents and managers  on how to increase sales and build cohesiveness within organizations.
